From 8th September 2009 Avient has made the decision to move their European Hub to Liege. The move provides many opportunities for the future development of Avient, adding huge benefits to our operational service capabilities.
Liege Airport has a number of Cargo Operators using its facilities and the airport has provided an attractive platform and infrastructure to encourage airline development. The new independent cargo handling agent  at Liege, AviaPartner Cargo Liege (APCL), are the chosen handling agents offering their services 24/7, 365 days a year, complimenting  Avient's own reliable, dedicated services. The company operates 2 fully utilized warehouses totaling 12500 m2 and the best possible equipment, providing full perishable capability.
In addition to utilising the expertise of AviaPartner Cargo Liege, Avient will have their own offices and Cargo team located the airport.
Services will remain unaffected for our customers and all cargo dropped at any European gateway will automatically be moved to Liege through Avient's own trucking network. As a known hub from Africa to Europe, Liege will offer Avient considerably more scope for growth to work with the perishable industry.

"We are pleased to be making this move which will provide considerable benefits to Avient within our interline opportunities, reducing inland carriage costs. Liege Airport and AviaPartner Cargo Liege both have very experienced management teams which we are sure will contribute towards a smooth operation", comments Andrew Smith, Managing Director.
